Art and Craft.

Art and craft Class is organized by Liz. She is a volunteer from Canada. As our mani puja (ten day prayer festival with all the nuns and monks in attendance) is going on, we have been having to play all our games in one corridor…in the central courtyard. So, Liz has organized this class which is one of the ways to use our time and to practice our abilities. Art has been one of the hidden abilities in the SMD students, except when volunteers come.

This class is mostly for junior kids and they are really enjoying it! They make different kinds of drawings and paintings. They cut shapes out of different drawings. They are also learning to make different animals, and birds from the paper. They have made pigeons, elephants, crows, swans etc.

They are really enjoying it. They are finding good way to spend their time.
