Farewell party to Ghen Kunchok

We student of grade nine organized a farewell party for our beloved teacher Ghen Kunchok Dorje. He has been giving his service as a Tibetan teacher for four years, and in those years he has made a brilliant improvement in Tibetan language education.

He is one of the hard working teachers we have ever seen. He along with other Tibetan teachers brought lots of changes in the teaching of Tibetan. He made Tibetan Opportunity Class (T.O.C) for those students who are weak in the Tibetan language. Now the kids of that class have improved a lot. It is because of Ghen Kunchok and other Tibetan teachers’ endurance.

Every one was very sad but it is the law of “wheel of life” that one day every one needs to depart. Ghen Kunchok is going into three year retreat. We hope the meditation goes peacefully and he will attain the true meaning of life.
