Making Momos For Lunch

On sunday,5th October, we had momos for lunch and they were very delicious. The Senior girls, we older kids and support staff (palas and amalas) made the momos together and other kids also helped in chopping the vegetables, and shaping the momos. We had fun cooking together and everyone was very co-operative in the kitchen.

At lunchtime, all the other kids were very happy and were grateful to have momos. Since most our kids are vegetarian, we made veg (potato) momos and everyone enjoyed them.

All this credit goes to Sandy Garson. She’s been sponsoring a cooking and nutrition programme at SMD for a long time now. The SMD family are very thankful to her for her great help.
