"Let's work together"

On 31st of May at 4:30pm, there was a tea party for teachers. Seniors were also invited. The party was host by School Director Shirley Blair and the chief aim of hosting the tea party was to remind about the aims and objectives of Very Venerable Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche in establishing SMD School. It was also hosted because of the improvement that our teachers have shown over the last year. At the tea party, School Director Shirley Blair gave a speech about the life story of Very Venerable Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche and she also talked about hardships that our Rinpoche has faced. Shirley also showed some apostrophe games and distributed some sheet that contains irregular and regular verbs which will be helpful for kids at SMD School.

Lhakpa Sonam Sherpa  one of the senior of SMD School who will be going on scholarship at the  Inter Community School Zurich also articulated his life story at the tea party and he was very grateful to  Very Venerable Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche for establishing this school for needy people like him. He was also thankful to teachers for giving education in every step of his life.

At the end, School vice Principal Karma Tsering shared his experience as teacher. He said that teacher work is not only to teach student but to make student understand and utilize  what they learn in their real life. He also said strongly that teacher should be very active about helping backward kids in SMD School. He was very delighted by teachers' cooperation and hope this continues in future.   

Teachers are very happy to get appreciation tea party and they were very much thankful to School Director Shirley Blair for hosting meaningful party.
