SMD Kids watching the World Cup Opening Ceremonies
WORLD CUP 2010 AT SMD SCHOOL
Cheer up your own team!!!
On 11th of June, the first day of World Cup 2010, we students of SMD gathered in the shrine hall to watch the opening ceremony held in Johannesburg. While we were entering the shrine hall some of the students were distributing toffees. The opening ceremony was shown by projector and it was really fun!
After that, there was Leadership Class. In Leadership Class, two visitors from Canada, Olivia and Maryanne, handed an official football of South Africa to SMD's Girls' Football Team and they also distributed plastic balloons on which World Cup 2010 was scripted.
Subsequently, everyone gathered in shrine hall for the first match of world cup of 2010 which was between South Africa and Mexico. Everyone was enjoying and cheering their respective team. The match was ended with a draw. Everyone was very happy to get a chance to watch the World Cup of 2010. All the students were very thankful to School Management for giving us chance to watch the opening ceremony and first match.
All the students are looking forward to watch grand finale of 2010 World Cup.
GRAND FINALE OF WORLD CUP
