THE CIRCUS & VOA COME TO SMD

Steve Groh is from the United States and Kay, his friend Kay is from Taiwan. Steve teaches circus skills to street children in Bangkok, Thailand. We came to know from him that he engaged the street kids in learning circus skills, and that changed the lives of some kids who had been taking drugs.

Kay works for the Voice of America. They visited Shree Mangal Dvip Boarding School thrice. When they first visited SMD, Steve showed his circus skills and influenced the kids so much! Kay did a wonderful speech about Taiwan in Leadership class. Additionally she also gave a radio and some documents to the school.

Both of them like SMD very much so they visited again a couple of months ago. They brought a lot of circus equipment and performed with it in front of all the kids. Later on, they donated all the things to SMD School. With those things, SMD kids were able to learn how to ride the giraffe unicycle, how to juggle and many more skills. The students are very interested to learn circus tricks and they learn so quickly.

SMD family is very thankful to them and hopes that they will visit us again in the coming days.
