2006 GRADUATION DAY

One of the aims of our Venerable Kenchen Thrangu Rinpoche was to graduate the kids of SMD in a very high standing .The SLC graduates of 2006 have achieved the ambition of Rinpoche and have succeeded in 1st division becoming twinkling stars in the intellectual sky of SMD. Every one in the SMD family was wearing a big smile .For the occasion of the graduates achievement we celebrated with graduation day on 10th July, and was a memorable day in SMD's history for succeeding in overcoming obstacles before us and obtaining Rinpoche’s objectives.

On the Graduation day every graduate spoke about the scopes where Rinpoche had helped them; The school management group for maintaining everything for them, support staffs for their good foods and care, teachers for their hard work and all the student for their co-operation with them .One of the graduates, Wangchuk Tenzing spoke about Rinpoche's hard work and he requested all the students to reach the Rinpoche's further aims, and teacher and administrator thanked and congratulated the graduates for their great result bringing honour to our school . They even wished each other for a bright future.  They also encouraged the present class 9 and 10 students to study harder for better result as compared to them. On the graduation day all the kids of SMD along with the staffs were each provided an ice cream.

All the school kids had a very special lunch and a picnic was announced for the graduates in the Gokarna resort with special meal, swimming and other entertainment. This news really surprised the graduates and made them all happy. With the conclusion of the graduation everyone now anxiously looks forward to see what the 2007 SMD graduates will accomplish for next year’s graduation ceremony.
