Celebration of Teachers' Day 2010

On Sunday July 25 in SMD School, it was a cheering day for teachers and support staff (palas and amalas) as it was their day (Teachers' Day). Teachers' Day is one of the most popular days in our school when students get to express their gratitude towards the teachers and support staff.

Students of SMD School got a chance from the Administration to celebrate Teacher's Day for half a day. The celebration was fully designed by the Student Council and the Eco-Club also gave a big hand to the Student Council in making the day successful. All the members were really busy making a good programme.

The Student Council organized various games for all the teachers and support staff. They provided a special lunch and the day was finished with a short tea party. The staff were appreciated for their hard work and their help when the kids offered them. Overall, the half day of Teachers' Day was perfect from top to bottom!
