Now studying: Bachelor of Business Studies (First year university)

Aim: Bank Manager

Any help for school in future: I want to help the school in the future after the completion of my higher studies. I specially want to help the kids in their studies and also to develop bodhicitta.

Memories of the school: I cannot forget the school even if though I am not in the school any more. It was my childhood home. I still remember the moments that I had spent in SMD with all of the SMDers and specially my classmates. I think the best time in my entire life was only in the school with all of my teachers and friends.

Your words for school: Initially I would like to thank the Venerable Thrangu Rinpoche for all of his help to Himalayan kids and also would like to heartily thank all SMD members for all of their help to me during my school years.

Now studying: Nursing (First year)

Any help for school in future: Of course I want to help SMD. It is my family where I got full love and care when I was in the school. I specially want to help the school as a nurse. I want to help all the
kids of SMD to make themselveshygienic and free from various diseases.

Memories of the school: I still remember the moments that I enjoyed with all of my friends. The love and care from the SMD family during my stay was spectacular. The times I played, studied, and enjoyed with all my friends are deeply carved in my memories.

Your words for school: I would like to thank our Venerable Thrangu
Rinpoche for his kind help towards poor Himalayan kids like us. I would also like to offer my heartfelt thanks to all the members of the school for their extreme love and care towards me... May the school become more organized and be able to help more poor Himalayan kids who are still backward in their remote villages! I hope to come back in the school to help after completing my studies.

Science Aim: Doctor

Any Help for the school in future: I want to help the school in the
medical field after completing my education and after becoming a
doctor. I want to help all the Himalayan children with their health. I want to give a free service to the school and to help the kids to protect themselves from many diseases. To fulfill our Rinpoche's aim I will also give my help to some poor Himalayan kids who are in the canopy of the dark future. This can encourage some other able people
to help those poor kids.

Memories of the school: I can never forget the moments that I had with my friends in this school. I shed a tears of happiness when I recall the moments of studying, playing and enjoying with my friends. I had hoped that I would still be in the same school with the same friends enjoying my time but as "everything is impermanent", my hopes became only hopes.

Your last words for the school: I would like to thank Rinpoche, all the sponsors and all the SMD family for everything.

Presently studying in: Grade 11 Science stream

Aim: Doctor

Any help for school in future: I hope to help the school in my near future. I specially want to help the school as a health worker And I can also help the kids in the sports like Basketball and Football. As the main aim of our Rinpoche is to protect Himalayan culture so I will always try my best to protect the Himalayan culture by setting a good example myself. The other thing is that I also want to help the poor children of the remote villages in some ways. (Note: To our delight, Kelsang returned to SMD in December 2007, to volunteer his help as a Math tutor and as a sports coach every afternoon.)

Memories of the school: I will never forget my school where I got all of my education. Not only education but SMD was also a place where I learned to help others and to have compassion to others. The times that I enjoyed with my friends and teachers were very special to me. I felt very homely during my stay in my school. I still remember the love and care of the teachers, Amalas, Palas and my friends. I think that I have two families: and SMD is also my family.

Your words for school: I would like to offer my special thanks to Very Venerable Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche for his compassion to all the poor kids of the Himalayan region and I would also like to thank all the Sponsors, teachers, Support Staff and my beloved friends. All of these people have made the SMD a paradise of love, care and compassion. I wish for the well being of all the SMD family.
